Zinty entered our lives when she was 11 weeks old and it was love at first sight!  She literally ran across the room and lept into my arms - I thought my heart was going to burst!  A big thank you to Marion Penwarne of Sheldamar for entrusting me with this gorgeous little sprite.

She might look like a mini Lappy but that is where the similarity ends!  She settled in really well and despite all her attempts to take over the household, the Lappies accepted her with good grace.  Sisko sulked for a week or two but was soon won over and enjoyed playing with her. ‘Zin Zin’ as she is also affectionately known absolutely loves being cuddled so she has totally fulfilled all my ‘lap dog’ desires.  Make no mistake though - these are NOT small dogs.... they think they are BIG dogs!  They certainly win first prize for their sheer devotion to their owners.  They are excellent watch dogs!

Boy is she bossy!!  And noisy!  And possessive!  But oh so cute :-)

She is the most perfect dog on a walk, she never needs a lead in the woods/on the common, she just trots along, takes no notice of other dogs, just does her own thing, sniffing all the way, loving every second of it.  We know we have her (and her son Scrabble), but crikey, this breed has got under our skin!  Having said that, we won't be having any more, two is enough!

The video on the left shows Zinty enjoying Peppi's puppies.  This lasted until the pups got bigger than her at which point she decided to hate them!
